The Opportunity:
CACI has an outstanding opportunity for a select GIS Full Stack Developer that wants to make a difference in the defense of the nation by applying their talents and experience in a fast-paced dynamic environment in support of US Special Operations Command. This opportunity is limited to self-starters with an advanced level of experience in planning, implementing, developing, and maintaining AI/ML applications for a GIS Enterprise and capable of working independently in a fluid custom application development environment. You will be an integral part of a selective professional IT team that directly supports the operational planning cycle to support mission success. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization in Fayetteville, NC.
Responsibilities:

You will use advanced software development techniques to perform complex analysis, design and modification of applications and databases for applying AI/ML models in a GIS Enterprise environment. You will perform software development, deployment, and maintenance of custom solutions supporting geospatial intelligence by analyzing, writing, building, and deploying imagery, FMV, and geospatial AI/ML solutions in support of SOF objectives. You will support geospatial AI/ML initiatives by identifying, acquiring, transforming, and analyzing and visualizing current GIS datasets, to include crisis planning and contingency response. You should have excellent communication skills to include technical writing and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. You should have the ability and willingness to continue to expand your knowledge and experience base to be detail oriented and to prioritize and complete assigned tasks within required deadlines. You should have exceptional problem solving and decision-making capabilities, including troubleshooting technical issues; successfully resolving project issues and challenges; and understanding user requirements to develop creative AI/ML solutions for process improvements. Using your knowledge and experience you will recommend innovative technologies that enhance the presentation and use of enterprise GIS products and provide integrated systems planning.
Qualifications:
Required: 

  • Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • 8 years of professional experience in information technology with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related quantitative field; OR typically 12 years of progressive experience managing the end-to-end lifecycle for the production of software applications.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and at least one application development language (C#, C++, etc.).
  • Shall possess strong oral and written communication skills and be capable of effectively leading projects.
  • Familiar with SQL (MSSQL, PostGres, MySQL, etc.).
  • Familiar with developing and using REST APIs
  • Obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification per DOD 8570.01

Desired:

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or similar field
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience using cloud computing services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience integrating geospatial datasets.
  • Familiar with REACT, NodeJS.
  • Understanding of DevOps methodology

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$85,800 - $180,200
