- Accountable for leading projects related to our Digital Engineering strategy
- Contribute to the definition, evolution, and continuous improvement of Digital Engineering capabilities within the agreed roadmap
- Act as a subject‑matter expert for selected Digital Engineering domains, methods, data models, and tools
- Support cross functional collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain, IT, and other stakeholders by providing technical and methodological expertise
- Drive implementation and operationalization of Digital Capabilities in projects, including methods, processes, data structures, and tooling
- Support adoption by coaching engineers, contributing to training material, and supporting pilots and rollouts
- Analyze current engineering workflows and identify improvement potentials regarding speed, quality, predictability, and digital maturity
- Contribute to the definition and refinement of metrics and indicators to assess the effectiveness of Digital Engineering solutions
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical discipline
- Several years of professional experience applying digitalization or digital engineering approaches in complex, hardware‑centric engineering environments
- Strong hands‑on experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts and engineering authoring and lifecycle systems (e.g. Windchill, Teamcenter, Xpedition, NX)
- Solid understanding of engineering processes, data flows, and toolchains across the product lifecycle
- Structured, analytical working style with the ability to translate engineering needs into practical, scalable solutions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and organizational boundaries
- Advanced English and basic German language skills
Skills Required
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical discipline
- Several years of professional experience applying digitalization or digital engineering approaches
- Strong hands-on experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
- Solid understanding of engineering processes and toolchains across the product lifecycle
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
- Advanced English and basic German language skills
