Job Summary:
The Expert Data Excellence Associate owns the engagement of industry experts end to end — from sourcing and qualification through to conducting expert calls and building lasting relationships across Dedale's expert network. Building on the Support foundation of research, outreach, scheduling and structured data enrichment, the Associate steps into a front-line role: leading expert conversations, capturing high-value market intelligence first-hand, and nurturing experts into long-term, reactivatable relationships.
The role is central to turning raw sourcing into structured, decision-grade intelligence, ensuring every expert interaction strengthens both the immediate project and the long-term durability of Dédale's expert network.
Key Responsibilities:
Expert Sourcing, Qualification & Pipeline
Source and qualify relevant industry experts against project briefs across sectors, functions and geographies (incl. customer, alumni and internal/external data excellence streams)
Conduct in-depth profile reviews to assess expertise, seniority, relevance and fit, prioritizing high-value profiles
Build and continuously strengthen expert pipelines, keeping records accurate, complete and current in Airtable
Draft and refine screening questions to validate expertise and protect call quality
Expert Call Delivery & Intelligence Capture
Conduct expert calls and consultations, leading the conversation with structured discussion guides and strong questioning
Screen and validate experts live, confirming fit and surfacing the most relevant, decision-useful insights
Capture accurate call notes, working notes and transcripts, and extract structured data points (e.g., customer and vendor experience) into internal systems
Translate expert interactions into clear, structured, actionable intelligence aligned to the project brief
Expert Relationship & Network Development
Build and maintain genuine, professional relationships with experts to encourage repeat participation
Own follow-ups and re-engagement, reactivating dormant and high-value experts (e.g., Super Expert and Founders streams)
Represent Dédale professionally in every touchpoint, protecting its reputation and the expert experience
Maintain expert consent, availability and compliance details (incl. NDAs) accurately and on time
Operational Excellence & AI-Enabled Productivity
Keep Airtable and internal platforms accurate and timely across sourcing, scheduling and engagement status
Use AI tools and internal workflows to accelerate sourcing, screening, briefing and data enrichment without sacrificing quality
Document activity thoroughly so projects remain auditable and easy to hand over
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work with Research, Customer Success, Commercial and Operations to align engagement with project needs
Clarify requirements with stakeholders and adjust sourcing and engagement accordingly
Support ad hoc initiatives requiring expert sourcing, market mapping and intelligence gathering
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Communications, Research, Management, or related fields
1–2+ years in research, expert networks, sourcing, recruitment, market intelligence, or client-facing environments preferred
Confidence and clarity conducting live calls and conversations with senior professionals
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong internet research and profile identification skills
Proficiency with LinkedIn, Airtable, CRM systems and research platforms; comfort using AI tools to improve efficiency
Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-through
Ability to balance speed, quality and accuracy under tight timelines
Strong problem-solving and multitasking in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
