As an Expert for Tintin, Dutch and Traditional Comics, you will manage and curate high-quality auctions for the Netherlands and Belgium region. Your mission is to use your market knowledge and network to create compelling auctions that attract bidders and ensure a fair and transparent experience for sellers and buyers.
By combining commercial insight with subject matter expertise, you will strengthen the quality, relevance, and performance of your auctions.
What You’ll Do- Evaluate and arrange comic book lots submitted by users, ensuring quality and relevance
- Create attractive and engaging lot listings on a weekly basis
- Review lot titles, descriptions, and images, and provide accurate value estimates
- Maintain fairness and transparency by accepting or rejecting submissions in a professional manner
- Curate auctions that attract bidders and drive strong performance
- Collaborate with the Sales team to attract new sellers and diversify the auction selection
- Partner with the Marketing team to increase bidder attention and engagement
- Passion and expertise in Comics, with strong knowledge of the industry
- Excellent commercial skills, including proven negotiation and relationship-building experience
- Strong network within the Comics industry
- Ability to work autonomously and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Good computer skills
- Good command of Dutch and English, preferably French
This is a remote role that can be based from The Netherlands or Belgium.

Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire collaboration. Most Catawikians operate in a hybrid setup, combining office-based and remote work, with a minimum of two days per week in the office, unless a role is explicitly stated as fully remote or fully office-based.
