The Procurement Analyst position is part of the Financial Management Department and is responsible for working with business areas to lead the acquisition of products and services. This includes coordinating sourcing activities, drafting contracts, and leading or providing support for other ad hoc projects.
Key Activities:
- Consult with key stakeholders to determine the best sourcing strategy to acquire products and services in adherence with acquisition guidelines.
- Develop sourcing events and other various contract documents in consultation with the Legal Department.
- Analyze pre-determined selection criteria to evaluate competitive proposals and provide recommendations.
- Utilize SAP Ariba to administer sourcing events and record and track acquisitions and contracts for reporting and data management purposes.
- Provide ad hoc analytical and project support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of budget and accounting principles.
- Three or more years of experience with procurement or related activities.

Location: Kansas City, Hybrid: minimum 50% on-site
Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $64,300 to $87,800 annually for the job level(s) required for this position. Final offers are determined by factors including the candidate’s qualifications, internal alignment considerations, district assignment, and geographic location.
Sponsorship: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
