Redis is looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing Cloud Infrastructure group in Sofia. In this role, you'll be part of a team that plays a crucial role in building the core building blocks and integrations that empower cloud developers across Redis.
You'll work on services and tooling that make it easier to build, deploy, manage, and monitor cloud applications. If you're passionate about creating modern, scalable systems and want your work to have a direct impact on the product and developer experience, this is the team for you.
What You'll Do?
- Design and develop backend services and shared libraries that support Redis' cloud platform.
- Build integrations with essential cloud services and infrastructure components.
- Work with modern tech stacks and contribute to microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers and product teams to shape requirements and technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and ongoing improvements to code quality and developer experience.
What We’re Looking For
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience developing backend systems.
- Solid programming skills in Python, Node.js, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience building and maintaining microservices in a cloud-native environment (AWS or GCP is a big plus).
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
- Passion for clean code, scalable architecture, and continuous learning.
