Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Experienced Quality Engineer to join our team in Enfield, CT.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leads the team to become resourceful in seeking answers/guidance to complex problems.
- Able to perform duties related to customer and supplier facing activities.
- This includes but is not limited to customer and/or supplier travel for on-site training and reviews.
- Responsible for meeting/exceeding customer quality metrics to ensure customer preferred supplier status.
- Conducts Corrective Actions Board (CAB) with customers, suppliers and internal BDSI organization.
- Can ensure a robust RCCA that will satisfy internal and external requirements.
- Lead all on customer scorecards metrics.
- Works with quality specialist to Lead all purge activities and ensure containment is within 48 hours globally.
- Works with customers on RMA products and submits documents for MRB approval.
- Writes quality plans, sampling plans, and inspections plans for customer products.
- Reviews RCCAs for trend analysis to work process improvements.
- Help train team members as needed on various quality topics.
- Assists in the writing and reviewing of technical and performance specifications, quality plans, sampling plans, and inspections procedures.
- Drives PFMEA activity internally and with suppliers as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree - Engineering or related field of study
- 4+ years of quality experience
- Experience with execution of root cause corrective actions (RCCA)
- 2+ years of experience with AS9100/9120 Standards
- Intermediate or higher proficiency working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 25% of the time

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
