We are looking for an Experienced Product Owner to join Digital & Business Technology Services at Stora Enso starting as soon as possible.
You will be joining the Business Accelerator Services / eBusiness Services team focusing on supporting digital transformation initiatives and operational excellence.
You will be located in Ostrava, Czechia and report to Sales and Customer, Service Manager.
Purpose
The Experienced Product Owner is responsible for managing vendor team and coordinating business activities to ensure successful product delivery in our customer platform.
The role acts as a key link between internal and external stakeholders, driving alignment, prioritisation, and collaboration to achieve business objectives and deliver value to the organisation.
Your responsibilities
Responsible of Stora Enso major customer facing service platform, eFlowOnline.
Act as the primary contact person between business stakeholders, vendor teams, and internal departments.
Manage and prioritise the product backlog based on business needs and strategic objectives and run scrum meetings.
Ensure alignment between business requirements and product delivery.
Coordinate vendor activities and monitor delivery timelines, quality and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Service, IT, and Operations.
Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into clear user stories and functional specifications.
Support product planning, testing, implementation, release management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Facilitate stakeholder communication and ensure transparency on product progress and priorities. Run steering group meetings. Responsible for release notes.
Identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities throughout the product lifecycle.
Drive customer-focused solutions that enhance business efficiency and user experience.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Support and coach teams in Agile and Scrum practices to encourage collaboration and continuous improvement.
Remove impediments and support teams in achieving sprint goals and delivery commitments.
Promote transparency, accountability, and effective communication across stakeholders and delivery teams.
What will you bring
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Solid business understanding combined with business analysis expertise across the full product lifecycle, from demand management to maintenance and continuous improvement.
A proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify improvement opportunities and drive efficient solutions.
Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and time management skills in a dynamic environment.
Experience in stakeholder and vendor management, with the ability to build strong working relationships and align business needs with delivery outcomes.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Awareness of product lifecycle management, service level management, and change and release management processes.
A collaborative approach with a strong focus on knowledge sharing, teamwork, and delivering customer-focused results.
