Job Title: Experienced Paralegal
We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Experienced Paralegal to join our team. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required. In this role, you will provide thorough and comprehensive legal support, contributing to the successful operation of our office and the effective management of cases. You will work directly with the leadattorney to ensure smooth and timely handling of legal matters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and prepare legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and briefs.
• Work with Legal Administrative assistant to identify deliverables when a new file is opened.
• Proofread legal documents for errors in grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
• Prepare legal arguments, motions, and briefs for the court.
• Manage and organize documents for discovery purposes.
• Assist in due diligence investigations on various matters.
• Attend court as needed to facilitate and support case matters.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other attorneys.
• Maintain organized case files and assist lead attorney.
• Professionally communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters, both in person and over the phone.
• Prepare, file, and organize legal documents and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain confidential client files and ensure compliance with legal documentation procedures.
QualificationsQualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is desired.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Paralegal experience in a legal environment is required.
- Familiarity with Clio or similar legal case management software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Associate College degree is a minimum requirement.
