Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Controller to support the USN P-8 program located in Jacksonville, FL.
This is a long term assignment to Nordholz, Germany, subject to business conditions and individual performance. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international relocation will be provided.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities
  • This position will be based out of NAS Jacksonville, FL. Will be relocating to Nordholz, Germany once work visa has been obtained.
  • Leads, plans, organizes and controls the maintenance and repairs of aircraft, aircraft components and support equipment.
  • Develops and maintains aircraft maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinates and monitors materials, tools, aircraft components and support equipment requisitioning, receipt, and allocation.
  • Documents and dispositions aircraft, components and support equipment maintenance data.
  • Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives.
  • Serves as subject matter expert to management and special external spokesperson for the organization on matters pertaining to policies, plans, and objectives.
  • Performs work with minimal direction and exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
  • Documents and dispositions aircraft in OOMA NALCOMIS.
  • Must be able to work multiple shifts if needed to support customer requests and schedules.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years experience as Maintenance Controller
  • Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Maintenance Control US NAVY Experience.
  • NAVY Safe for Flight Qualified per NAVY 4790.2 Requirements.

Ex-Pat Information:
  • Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country
  • Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable
  • Employment is contingent on the candidate's ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country
  • Because the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned. These contingencies also apply to any/all family members who may be relocating with the candidate.

Relocation:
Domestic relocation is not authorized for this position. Candidate will be located in Jacksonville, FL, before they leave for their international assignment to Nordholz, Germany.

Summary Pay Range: $73,950 - $100,050
