The Intercom HW team consists of 11 highly skilled electronics and mechanical engineers. We are part of the Intercom Solutions department, where hardware and software teams work closely together to develop competitive intercom products and solutions.

Our way of working is highly collaborative. We solve challenges across disciplines by working closely with colleagues in software, industrialization, quality, and product development. In this role, you will be part of a team that values technical excellence, continuous development, and a shared passion for our work.

You will also collaborate with colleagues at 2N, part of the Axis group. Together, we leverage our complementary experience in intercom and access control to share knowledge, identify new opportunities, and strengthen the solutions we deliver to our customers and partners.

About the Role

Are you an electronics engineer who wants to see your designs turn into real products in the hands of users around the world? Join our Intercom Solutions Team in Lund, where you will play a central role in developing the hardware behind our intercom products — from first schematic to volume production.

In this role, you will:

• Create schematic designs for new intercom products, with a strong focus on quality and manufacturability
• Select components and manage the Bill of Materials (BOM), balancing performance, cost, and availability
• Conduct and contribute to design reviews, maintaining thorough engineering documentation throughout the process
• Plan and carry out testing and verification to ensure designs meet both functional and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with software, mechanics, and test teams to deliver well-integrated product solutions

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative setting and takes initiative to drive things forward. You enjoy working across disciplines, sharing knowledge, and taking responsibility for your part of the product development journey. You are proactive, results-oriented, and motivated by seeing your designs come to life in real products.

What we need you to bring:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Some experience in developing hardware products — from schematic design through verification
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• A proactive approach with high initiative and a drive to deliver quality results
• Fluency in English, which is our working language
• Basic proficiency in Swedish
• Willingness to travel occasionally
