As an Experience Design Senior Associate on the design system team, you will support the enterprise design systems for the Private Bank. This work will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our products and services by leveraging your advanced knowledge of experience design principles. You will collaborate with designers, engineers, and other cross-functional partners to create the systems that enable innovative, inclusive, and accessible digital products. Experience Design Senior Associates help develop and maintain scalable design systems, ensuring consistency and usability across products. Your impact will be significant in the design, architecture, and functionality of our products, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our users.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support in the definition and curation of shared design and experiences across all our digital products
- Partner with designers and developers to apply and evolve our design patterns Develop thinking through wireframes, visual studies, motion studies, prototypes
- Present and communicate work and recommendations to the larger design organization
- Ensure our design patterns maintain the highest of quality standards
- Build relationships with other design leads and key stakeholders to drive adoption of design patterns Identify opportunities to increase the consistency of our customer experience
- Contribute to high performing teams through the development of self and others, emphasizing continuous learning and growth
- Articulating design rationale persuasively in both verbal and written communications Influence others and provide thought leadership on design Research and look for opportunities to solve problems in unusual and innovative ways
- Advocate for Accessibility and Inclusive Design practices
- Write, maintain, and improve UX documentation
- Maintain the related Figma libraries by fixing bugs, and enhancing existing components and patterns
- Design new components and patterns for the library that align with our toolkit
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Degree in a relevant design discipline (e.g., Interaction Design, HCI, User Experience Design), certification from a credible bootcamp or accelerated learning program, or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise, system-level, or design systems roles.
- Ability to synthesize complex, interdependent, and sometimes competing needs.
- Demonstrated experience with user-centered and human-centered design approaches.
- Proven collaboration within design teams (designers, UX researchers, content designers) and cross-functionally with software engineers.
- Strong skills in Interaction Design and Visual/UI design.
- Proficiency in Information Architecture, User Research, UX Writing, and Prototyping.
- Understanding of technical constraints and opportunities; familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Advocacy for Accessibility Guidelines and Inclusive Design practices.
- Portfolio of work available for review.
- Effective communication of design rationale and decisions to stakeholder
