Air Cost Control (“A2C”), a subsidiary of HEICO, a leading aviation electrical interconnect product distribution Company, is seeking a Buyer Assistant/Expeditor that would be primarily responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
- Following Orders: Daily extract and follow-up on suppliers late deliveries and not acknowledged orders
- Stock Monitoring: Tracking inventory levels to ensure the business has sufficient stock without over-ordering.
- Managing Lead Times: Keeping track of lead times for production, shipping, and receiving to ensure products are available when needed.
- Monitoring Supplier Performance: Tracking supplier delivery times, quality, and overall performance to ensure they meet expectations
- Optimizing Purchasing Processes: Continuously evaluating and improving procurement processes to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance the supply chain.
- Collaboration with Other Teams: Regularly communicating with internal teams such as sales, logistics and Product managers to align procurement plans with overall business goals
