Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on our supply chain operations by working closely with our international suppliers. As a Material Expeditor, you will analyze and detect supplier-related issues, prepare comprehensive root cause analyses, and develop effective solutions to optimize material flow and delivery performance.
The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite
This role is contributing to the Switchboard Procurement team in SLP.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Monitor and manage the timely delivery of raw materials, components, and required to support manufacturing operations.
Lead expediting activities for critical and high-priority materials to prevent production downtime and customer delivery disruptions.
Track and analyze open purchase orders, supplier commitments, transit status, and inventory levels.
Develop and maintain recovery plans for late deliveries, material shortages, and supply chain disruptions.
Collaborate with Purchasing, Supply, Production Planning, Logistics, Warehouse, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve material-related issues.
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering.
5+ years of experience working in related positions.
Strong knowledge of root cause analysis.
Skilled in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of incoterms and supply chain.
Advanced English level.
Possess strong communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
