About this opportunity:
Responsible for performing analysis, audit, design and optimization of telecom networks based in technical knowledge. Knowledge applies across disciplines in areas of RAN, Transport, Core, OM and Service Networks. The Exp RF Engineer may be engaged in the whole process from early understanding, pre-sales of services and networks to service delivery and operations, depending on the requirement.
The role is focused on:
- Based on deep technical understanding and ability to extract insight from e.g. network data to deliver high quality network design, audit and optimization services according to Ericsson requirements and customer needs and specifications.
- Based on advanced technical network analysis, supports pre-sales org, e.g. Solution Architects, with credible business opportunities for services, products and SW sales.
- Be able to work with new Ericsson analytics solutions related to automation and ML tools.
- Work independently and provide quality deliverables per project or service scope.
- Drive technology innovation aiming at identifying project efficiencies, new solutions and services.
- Financial and commercial awareness of delivered NDO services.
- Customer focus and consulting.
Responsibilities & Outcomes
• Suggest resolution of technical problems within multiple domains.• Analyze and discuss with customer improvement areas and challenges related to technology.• Collect customer requirements from RFQ or directly from customer.• Propose scope of work for a design or optimization service.• Estimate cost of sales for a service proposal (work force, tools, travels and expenses).• Document and present a service offering, including customer values.• Working in one Service Area with more complex project.• Transform current NDO ways of working towards analytics.• Intelligent data usage and new analytics tools and frameworks expertise.• Hold basic knowledge on open source programming language. Develop on demand scripts that can facilitate small manual tasks.
