Responsibilities:
- Create pitch books, market updates and other client materials.
- Identify market trends and conduct analyses used in client communications.
- Communicate with investment banking, sales, trading and research to discuss industry trends and investor feedback.
- Assist senior bankers in the origination, structuring and execution of capital markets transactions.
- Perform ad hoc shareholder and trading analyses.
- Leverage new and existing technologies to re-engineer and streamline internal business processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with outstanding academic achievement.
- Currently live in or ability to relocate to New York City metro area.
- Experience in finance, accounting or consulting, in investment banking, capital markets or trading.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy and accountability.
- Strong quantitative and analytical background with creative problem solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, strong work ethic and team oriented.
- Self-motivated, with the flexibility to work long hours, nights, and weekends, as needed.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) is required.
- A strong interest in the equity capital markets.
- Energetic with a proactive mentality and desire to participate in helping grow the business.
