Job DescriptionRole Summary:
The individual will lead the general accounting and DIVA reporting process in the NEC Global Shared Service Centre (GSSC) for all country units.
Essential:
- Strong Analysis skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organised and results orientated
- Good working knowledge of Finance processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exposure to SAP & financial reporting.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office
Overall Project/Task description
- Financial reporting and ensure accurate reporting
- Provide decision support for NEC country units from the point of financial close and periodic external reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annually)
- Ensure preparation of management and regulatory reports, including the compilation of data for audit reviews and requests
- Follows accounting policies and procedures and control processes to ensure work is per standard defined
- Ensure all balance sheet and expense accounts are properly reconciled and maintained.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial results, monthly closing and compliance activities
- Take on ad hoc tasks and duties with minimal supervision.
- Report any issues or deviations from procedures and seek guidance to solve them.
- Reconciling and confirming intercompany balances with subsidiaries and other group entities
- Consolidations, variance analysis and reporting experience
- Verifying that subsidiaries’ reporting packages are consistent with reporting requirements
- Experience drafting control narratives and/or monitoring/testing controls
- Prepare consolidated schedules to internal and external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, including certain financial statement footnotes.

Education:
Preferred M.Com/ MBA / Cost Accountant
