Key responsibilities:

• Assist with maintaining proper records in accordance with internal and legal requirements.
• Ensure that final deliverables to client are 100% correct in terms of quality and accuracy.
• Develop full awareness of individual clients and their requirements.
• Ensuring that all day-to-day matters required to be completed are performed in a timely and satisfactory manner including monitoring tasks.
• Prepare working files and NAV calculation for Funds.
• Update the accounting system for Funds in the portfolio.
• Provide detailed NAV pack to the client as required.
• Calculation of management fees, waterfall, preferred return, equalization and carried interest.
• Prepare capital call and distribution to Funds investors.
• Prepare capital account statements and statement of holdings to Funds investors.
• Prepare management accounts, financial statements and tax computations.
• Deliver high quality accounts in statutory format including all applicable disclosures.
• Liaison with auditor on financial statement statutory audit.
• Process invoices and bank transfers for clients and ensure liaison with banks for settlements.
• Arrange for filing of Annual returns, APS returns, PAYE return, TDS returns, VAT returns, Indian tax returns within statutory due dates.

• Deal with tax issues, queries from MRA, clients and other authorities.

Skills Required: 

• 2-3 years of working experience in the Global Business Sector or an audit firm would be an advantage.
• Holds a degree or has completed/ substantially completed a professional ACA or ACCA qualification or equivalent.
• Demonstrate a client service mindset when servicing the client.
• Proficient in MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel).
• Good written and spoken communications skills.
• Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Goal-oriented and an organized team player.
• Quick learner and able to adapt in different work environment.
• Well organised and a track record of working to tight deadlines.
• Able to work under pressure.
