The Executive VP is responsible for all aspects of community operations and resident experience for AMG. The EVP is a key member of the senior leadership team and provides leadership and coordination in client retention and growth efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure AMG is leveraging appropriate strategies, systems, and resources to support operational excellence and long-term growth
  • Communicate and share relevant information with clients to ensure alignment
  • Oversee customer-facing operations, including, but not limited to, community operations, resident experience, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all deliverables.
  • Work collaboratively with Chief Community Accounting Officer to ensure delivery of best-in-class community financial services.
  • Through collaboration with the VCP and executive team, ensure that companies are leveraging appropriate strategies, systems, resources, and policies to retain existing clients and gain new clients effectively.
  • Drive performance and accountability through key metrics, including, but not limited to, customer satisfaction, customer retention, and new business.
  • Develop and monitor team member performance goals; provide supervision and professional development; recognize and reward high performance.
  • Actively engage in staff recruitment and future development.
  • Communicate and disseminate information within their department to ensure priorities are aligned and satisfactory progress towards AMG's vision is made.
  • Monitor annual budgets and forecasts to ensure they are within the established financial goals.
  • Analyze operations to identify areas needing improvement, reorganization, outsourcing, downsizing, or elimination.
  • Maintain strong industry relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners.
  • Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with our management agreement, Community Association Institute (CAI), federal, state, and local regulations
  • Update job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Experience

  • A minimum of ten years of experience in large-scale and portfolio community association management.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in a leadership/executive role.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience. ·
  • Appropriate state license and industry designations. ·
  • CAI PCAM designation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:

  • Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.
  • Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.
  • Driving: Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions. (Please note: We will request and review an MVR at the time of hire and on a periodic basis thereafter to ensure that employees maintain a satisfactory driving status.)
