Primary objectives
1. To achieve faster turnaround of rake & containers
2. Ensuring proper documentation related to s/line, customs, and Railways.
3. To ensure compliance related to EXIM, customs & railways.
4. Ensuring Proper Customer Correspondence and relationship
5. Ensuring Operational KPIs are achieved.
Key responsibilities
1. Responsible for smooth operations in yard, rail & warehouse (EXIM/Domestic).
2. Ensure timely gate in and gate out operations as per SLAs.
3. Ensure to prepare various reports & showing with concerned in time.
4. Ensure there should not be any revenue leakages.
5. Plan to utilize equipment optimally and its proper management.
6. Ensure to bring efficiency in operations by providing best timely service to customers.
7. To have zero customer complaints.
8. Cost saving initiatives.
9. To follow safety and security norms of the company strictly and its implementation on the ground.
10. To maintain relationships with internal employees as well as with external vendors/ Customers/ Govt. authorities.
11. To follow strictly the SOPs of Yard, Rail & warehouse operation
12. Responsible for all warehouse functions of Inward, Put-away, Picking, Outbound and Inventory.
13. Ensure timely loading/unloading of Train as per TAT.
14. Need to unload all the SKUs batchwise and ensure timely GR and Put-away.
15. Overall responsibility for Warehouse operations.
16. Maintaining Gross Margin at format level.
17. Managing Team off-roll and on-rolls Attrition within 5%
18. Maintaining Customer Level Operations SLA
19. Proper Audit/stock take, and Shrinkage under Limits as provided by Business Team
20. Maintaining Customer Level Transpiration SLA.
21. Maintaining HSE Standard and submission of reports
22. MIS and Productivity Monitoring.
Qualifications & Competencies
1. Good Communication skills in English language, both oral and written.
2. Qualification – Graduate / Experience - Minimum -5 years.
3. To have very good knowledge of word, excel & PPT as well as Software.
Skills Required
- Graduate degree/diploma
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in terminal/rail/warehouse operations
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and familiarity with operational software
