We are looking for qualified and proactive Officers / Executives to join our Engineering team in various functions including Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, HVAC, Utilities, Engineering Stores, Control Systems, Documentation, and Equipment Qualification/Validation.
Candidates with experience in any of the mentioned domains in a regulated Pharmaceutical / API / Chemical industry are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities (based on area of expertise): Electrical / Instrumentation / Control Systems (CS):
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical panels, drives, and control systems (PLC/SCADA).
- Calibration and validation of instruments and sensors.
- Ensure power supply reliability and energy management.
- Compliance with electrical safety and audit requirements.
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance of production equipment.
- Root cause analysis and CAPA for equipment failures.
- Spare part planning and coordination with the engineering store.
- Support in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, AHUs, chillers, BMS.
- Utility equipment management – boilers, air compressors, DG sets, water systems.
- Monitoring and maintaining system performance parameters and records.
- Support during HVAC qualification and requalification.
- Inventory management of engineering spares and consumables.
- Coordination with purchase and vendors for material availability.
- Maintain GRN, issue slips, stock audits, and reorder level tracking.
- SAP / ERP system knowledge preferred.
- Preparation of qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) for new equipment.
- Documentation of preventive maintenance, breakdowns, and validation activities.
- Equipment life cycle documents, change control handling.
- Support in audits and compliance documentation.
Candidate Profile:
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation / Industrial Engineering or relevant field
Experience: 2–6 years in pharmaceutical or regulated industry
- Experience in any one or more of the above areas
- Knowledge of GMP, GDP, and Engineering compliance practices
- SAP / ERP and MS Office familiarity
- Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills
- Proactive and responsible approach to engineering issues
- Good documentation practices
- Effective communication and team coordination
- Willingness to work in shifts and cross-functional teams
Skills Required
- Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field
- 2-6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or another regulated industry
- Experience in at least one relevant engineering area, such as electrical, instrumentation, mechanical maintenance, HVAC, utilities, engineering stores, control systems, documentation, or equipment validation
- Knowledge of GMP, GDP, and engineering compliance practices
- Familiarity with SAP/ERP and MS Office
- Willingness to work general or rotational shifts and in cross-functional teams
