ResponsibilitiesPosition - SAP BASIS Consultant
Description
KPMG is looking for a SAP BASIS consultant to join our team and provide technical support and leadership for SAP systems. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the SAP environment, ensuring optimal performance, security and availability. You will also be involved in system installation, configuration, upgrade, migration, backup and recovery, user administration, transport management and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a SAP BASIS consultant or administrator
Monitor and administer SAP systems, including application servers, databases, operating systems and network components
Perform performance tuning and optimization of SAP systems and databases
Plan and execute system backup and restore activities
Install, configure and upgrade SAP systems and applications
Manage transports across different SAP landscapes
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP systems
Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, standards and guidelines
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports
Provide technical support and guidance to end users and other stakeholders
Requirements:
Proficient in SAP BASIS administration tools and techniques
Knowledge of SAP architecture, components and modules
Experience in SAP system installation, configuration, upgrade, migration, backup and recovery
Experience in SAP user administration and authorization management
Experience in SAP transport management system
Experience in SAP performance tuning and optimization
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to SAP systems
Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)

- Graduation (BCOM, BE / BTech, Similar education related to IT) / Post Graduation (MBA /PGDM / MCA / MTech)
- ICWA/CA Final as a qualification is preferred
