THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As an Executive Project Manager, you will work closely with the VP of Zalando Technology Foundation (ZTF) and their leadership team to drive strategic priorities for the business unit. You will support the development and management of a diverse project portfolio, covering a range of topics related to tech and e-commerce, while collaborating with senior stakeholders across the company.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

Assisting the ZTF team on selected projects, providing coordination and support to various teams, and helping the VP of ZTF to monitor progress and key deliverables.

Supporting the VP in preparing for meetings and appointments, including follow-ups and ensuring that all necessary materials are ready.

Lead and manage complex projects, including defining scope, timelines, budgets, and risks.

Preparing written materials and presentations, conducting research, and analyzing data to provide valuable insights.

Liaising with internal and external partners, ensuring smooth communication and alignment with the VP’s priorities.

Facilitate communication and collaboration between the ZTF Leadership Team and other stakeholders.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

You have at least 5 - 7 years of project management experience (ideally in packaged software like SAP or Salesforce, and in data & analytics).

Solid project management skills with the ability to organize, prioritize, and balance multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Ability to take initiative, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects with minimal guidance.

Experience in tech or ecommerce industry is a plus but not mandatory

Strong communication skills, including writing reports and preparing materials for internal meetings.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with various teams. Experience working with senior leaders is a plus.

Comfortable handling confidential information with professionalism.

Hands-on attitude with a growth mindset; a willingness to jump in and get involved where needed, and comfort working with ambiguity is important; representing Zalando’s leadership principles (OFMs, e.g. “Purpose first, ego second”)
