ABOUT THE POSITION

As our studio continues to expand and the scope of our productions grows, we are looking for an Executive Producer to lead large-scale AAA projects across multiple Virtuos studios and disciplines.

The Executive Producer is responsible for driving the successful delivery of complex game productions by aligning product vision, production execution, business objectives, and player expectations across teams, clients, and stakeholders.

This role combines strategic leadership with strong operational execution. The ideal candidate is an experienced production leader with deep knowledge of AAA game development, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through ambitious creative and technical challenges.

Responsibilities

1. Project & Production Leadership

  • Lead large-scale AAA projects across multiple studios, disciplines, and external partners.
  • Drive the successful execution of the project from pre-production to final delivery.
  • Define, validate, and oversee project scope, milestones, schedules, budgets, and deliverables in collaboration with Development Directors and Discipline Leads.
  • Ensure production plans are realistic, tracked, and aligned with project goals and client expectations.
  • Monitor production progress and proactively identify production bottlenecks, dependencies, and risks.
  • Manage scope changes, feature creep, production escalations, and mitigation plans while maintaining alignment with quality, timeline, and budget objectives.
  • Ensure milestone deliveries meet expected standards of quality, stability, and performance.

2. Product Vision & Player Experience

  • Ensure a compelling and consistent product vision is shared across teams, stakeholders, and clients. 
  • Advocate for player experience and product quality in production and creative decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with Design, Art, Engineering, QA, and Production teams to support the creation of high-quality game experiences. 
  • Assess market trends, player expectations, and competitive benchmarks to help align production priorities with business and product objectives.

3. Client & stakeholder management

  • Build trusted relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and studio leadership.
  • Act as a key point of escalation and alignment between Virtuos studios, external partners, and clients.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively on project status, risks, priorities, schedules, scope, and budget.
  • Understand contract parameters and collaborate with Business Development and Sales teams on proposal development, staffing strategies, and scope management.
  • Contribute to building long-term partnerships with clients and strategic partners.

Qualifications
  • Shipped at least 2 AAA titles in a Senior Production, Lead Production, or Executive Production role.
  • Extensive experience managing large-scale game productions across multiple teams and locations.
  • Strong understanding of AAA game development pipelines, workflows, and dependencies across Design, Art, Engineering, QA, and Production.
  • Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams in complex production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of production methodologies including Agile and Scrum.
  • Experience with production management tools such as Jira, Handsoft, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tracking tools.
  • Strong understanding of risk management, scope management, budgeting, and production forecasting.
  • Previous co-development, outsourcing, or porting experience is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to balance creative ambition, production realities, player expectations, and business constraints.
  • Fluent English required.
