Responsible for planning and managing non-stock projects from initiation to final dispatch, ensuring alignment with timelines and compliance requirements. Coordinate with Design, R&D, Production, Logistics, and Quality teams to monitor progress, resolve production issues, and ensure smooth execution. Track project milestones, capacity utilization, and material status while prioritizing urgent orders and ensuring timely monthly dispatch as per commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage non-stock project plans, ensuring alignment with project timelines and compliance requirements from planning to dispatch.
- Coordinate effectively with Design, R&D, and Production teams for project execution.
- Monitor project progress using project management tools to ensure adherence to timelines and milestones.
- Oversee production floor activities, tracking project status and promptly addressing production issues with the respective sales personnel.
- Ensure timely and compliant dispatch of completed projects by collaborating with the logistics and quality teams.
- Follow up on production activities and prepare reports for corrective actions.
- Coordinate and oversee the status of imported materials/items to ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Prioritize urgent orders and manage their fulfillment as per the commitments made to clients.
- Monitor production capacity utilization and keep the sales team informed about capacity availability for the upcoming months.
- Ensure the monthly dispatch process is completed without any gaps or delays.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Supply Chain) or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in Production Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain operations.
- Strong command of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and MS Excel for reporting, planning, and data analysis.
- Solid understanding of production planning, inventory control, order processing, and dispatch coordination.
- Ability to analyze stock levels, production flow, and generate actionable reports with a problem-solving approach.
- Strong coordination skills to work cross-functionally with procurement, warehouse, production, and sales teams.
