CPMC is a hospital system within Sutter Health, comprising four campuses. Three of these are standalone hospitals, each with a unique Medicare number. Each site requires an experienced executive who will oversee the development, growth, and maintenance of multiple clinical service lines. These service lines are primarily located at the site the executive manages, but they can extend across campuses. The Van Ness Campus prefers candidates with experience in transplant and tertiary/quaternary hospital systems. The role involves planning, executing, monitoring, and evaluating operations within the assigned geographic area to ensure operational excellence that supports the organization's focus on quality, service, and affordability, aligning with Sutter Health’s overall strategic direction. The incumbent will implement and oversee policies and procedures to ensure high-quality, efficient, and compassionate patient care. They will work collaboratively with the geographic leadership team and service line leaders to foster planning, innovation, and problem-solving, ensuring alignment with the broader enterprise strategy. The position holds authority and accountability for the designated geographic area, including patient satisfaction, quality of care, financial targets (such as budget and revenue responsibilities), and involvement in all capital expenditures.Job Description:

Bachelor's: Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field, or equivalent education/experience
Master's preferred
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
15 years of recent relevant experience
Preferred experience:
Director level with higher service lines, business development, strategy, operations
Clinical experience a plus
Site administration experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Demonstrated knowledge in areas of physician practice operations and financing, and managed care business. Prior experience in a managed care market is required.
Demonstrated record of developing highly effective working relationships with physicians.
Communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation.
Effective leadership skills and decision-making skills.

Pay Range is $268,902.40 to $430,248.00 / annual salaryThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
