The Executive Office Analyst supports the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Senior Advisor to the CEO to ensure the efficient operation of the Office of the CEO. Reporting to the Senior Advisor, the analyst supports the Senior Advisor in tracking steady progress against key organizational priorities. The analyst conducts internal and external research in multiple systems and through targeted outreach to support informed decision making. This position manages special projects and initiatives as assigned through the full cycle of conception, preparation and design, execution and monitoring to support the effectiveness of the Office of the CEO.
The analyst drafts timely notes for key meetings, including Executive Team meetings, the Expanded Leadership Forum, and other strategic groups to document critical discussions, decisions and action items. The individual in this role will also support the CEO, Senior Advisor and Corporate Communications in collecting inputs to inform internal communications as assigned.
Accountabilities:

Manages or supports special projects and initiatives from initiation to completion as assigned. These projects will include close collaboration with the Project Management Office, Senior Advisor to the Chief Operating Officer, the Chief Impact Officer, the Chief Strategy and Evidence Officer.

Provide regular and ad hoc business analysis support.

Conducts internal and external research in multiple systems and through targeted outreach to support informed decision making as assigned.

Conducts internal and external research to collect inputs to inform communications as assigned and in coordination with Corporate Communications.

Documents key internal discussions as assigned including for regular Executive Team meetings and Expanded Leadership Forums and CEO town halls.

Supports Senior Advisor in documenting and tracking progress against identified follow-up actions, including those resulting from CEO trips and Executive Team meetings.

Supports Senior Advisor and the Office of the Chief Impact Officer in tracking external pledges and commitments, including responsible parties and the timely submission of relevant deliverables.

Supports Special Advisor and Executive Administrative Assistant in developing and documenting clear processes and systems to ensure daily activities within the executive office are efficient, on schedule and within budget.

Conducts information gathering and drafting work on plans, documentation, presentations and budgets as assigned and in consultation with the Senior Advisor.

Prepares purchase orders, consulting agreements and other engagements for review and approval.

Builds, develops, and grows contacts and partnerships, internally and externally, to better inform proactive responses and engagement.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Applied Knowledge & Skills:
-
Project management experience.
-
Experience generating informative reports leveraging systems such as CostPoint, Workday, PowerBI, Salesforce or equivalents to inform executive decision-making.

Experience conducting qualitative research and consolidating findings to inform executive decision-making.

Broad knowledge of the international development community

Demonstrated experience working with international development programs

Experience working in a large NGO or government environment is an advantage.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage rapidly evolving priorities effectively.

Ability to communicate in a clear, positive manner with internal and external colleagues and stakeholders.

Must be able to read, write and speak English at a native or bilingual proficiency level.

Proficiency in Microsoft suite of programs, including PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI, etc. required.

Proficiency in CostPoint, Workday and Salesforce preferred.

Fluency in one or more languages is an advantage.
Education:

Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent • Business Administration, Development Management, International Development, Public Policy or Related Field.

Master's Degree preferred.
Experience:

Typically requires 5 - 8 years of business management experience.

Demonstrated experience with U.S. government regulations, procedures, and contracting requirements preferred.

Articulate, professional, and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner with staff and external stakeholders.

Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
The expected US Based hiring salary range for this role is listed below. Candidate FHI 360 pay ranges represent national averages that vary by geographic location. When determining an offer amount, FHI 360 factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, internal equity, business sector, and budget.
Base salary is only one component of our offer. FHI 360 contributes 12% of monthly base pay to a money purchase pension plan account. Additionally, all US based staff working full-time, which is calculated at 40 hours/week, receive 18 days of paid vacation per year, 12 sick days per year, and 11 holidays per year. Paid time off is reduced pro rata for employees working less than a full-time schedule.
US Based Hiring Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000
International hiring ranges will differ based on location.
