Main Responsibilities
Responsible to keep the database up and running smoothly and to provide seamless flow of information throughout the company, considering both backend data structure and fronted accessibility for end-users
List of responsibilities
1. Responsible for administration and technical maintenance of company’s distributed database system
2. Maintains database by identifying and solving database requirements; supporting users
3. Ensure optimal performance, tuning, and scalability of databases to support enterprise applications and large-scale projects.
4. Perform regular maintenance including patching, upgrades, and backup/recovery processes.
5. Ensure databases comply with internal governance, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements
6. Monitor database health and performance using tools or third-party monitoring platforms.
7. Recommends solution by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up and recovery specification
8. Installs revised or new system by proposing specifications and flowchart recommending optimum access techniques coordination installation requirements
9. Maintains database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters
10. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
11. Perform tests and evaluation regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
