The Role

Job description

At AlixPartners, we solve the most complex and critical challenges by moving quickly from analysis to action when it really matters; creating value that has a lasting impact on companies, their people, and the communities they serve. By understanding, respecting, and honoring the needs of our employees, clients, and communities, AlixPartners actively promotes an inclusive environment. We strongly believe in the value that diversity brings to our experiences and are committed to the perpetual enhancements of initiatives, policies, and practices. What you’ll do

AlixPartners, a leading global consulting firm, is searching for a Performance Partner with a Growth focus who is passionate about delivering high value, complex opportunities. We work for owners, boards and CEOs and they hire AlixPartners to assist in solving their most complex, highest value opportunities.

Our Performance practice works with healthy, under-performing and distressed companies across a variety of urgent, high impact situations. Within Performance, the growth practice advises clients on where to play: markets, segments, channels, and categories; and how to win: competitive advantage, value proposition, comparables, and gap identification. The growth’s practice main value levers include marketing, pricing, sales, and customer success and retention.

Our Partners operate in a leadership role within the group, leading large and complex client projects, developing junior talent in Performance, and impacting the business commercially.

These leaders are recognized experts in their respective fields, using their skills and experience to build measurable, better outcomes for our clients. You will be viewed by the client as the primary contact for leading projects and client engagements on the ground, analyzing corporate performance, driving cost reductions, revenue growth and profitability improvement in ‘high stakes’ situations. As part of our collaborative team, you will have the opportunity to achieve exceptional results in our high energy environment, with continuous opportunities to pursue your professional development, career interests, and growth aspirations.

  • Strong & Reliable Incentives Pay is positioned as market-competitive to above-market in core consulting tracks, with sizable variable pay that can meaningfully lift total compensation in strong years. Total compensation is also described as especially competitive within restructuring/turnaround relative to many generalist peers, even if comparisons versus top strategy firms can vary by level and year.
  • Parental & Family Support Paid parental leave is described as up to 12 weeks of bonding leave in addition to birth-related short-term disability, which is competitive in U.S. consulting. Family-building support is highlighted via fertility/IVF, surrogacy, and adoption assistance, plus programs to support new parents and caregivers.
  • Equity Value & Accessibility A Value Accumulation Plan (VAP) provides equity-linked units after tenure thresholds, giving eligible employees long-term upside that is uncommon below the partner level in consulting. This ownership-like component is positioned as a distinctive wealth-building differentiator beyond standard salary and bonus.
