Job Summary

This role orchestrates and drives the marketing integration across GMCA and Partner Agencies to ensure seamless go-to-market planning and execution, optimal resource allocation, and delivery excellence. The role drives cross-functional and cross-agency alignment, develops collaborative frameworks, and embeds centralised workflow management systems in the delivery of marketing campaigns to achieve functional priorities and business outcomes.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

Cross-function and Agency Integration:

  • Designs and implements integration frameworks across GMCA and Partner Agencies.

  • Develops and implements ways of working to achieve end-to-end campaign integration.

  • Implements and maintains strategic and operational alignment between GMCA and Partner Agencies.

  • Leads annual planning and review processes to ensure optimal and sustainable agency resource deployment.

  • Establishes and orchestrates functional planning forums that drive coherence and alignment.

Go-to-Market Orchestration and Alignment:

  • Designs and embeds Go-to-Market orchestration models and platforms across GMCA and Partner Agencies.

  • Reviews and aligns annual Go-to-Market campaigns with GMCA and business priorities.

  • Facilitates collaboration forums that optimise collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.

  • Drives strategic business immersion and induction sessions to ensure consistent alignment to the Absa brand and business priorities.

Agency Partner Resource Allocation and Capacity Planning:

  • Develops and drives the agency resource allocation model across GMCA to ensure efficiency.

  • Leads and coordinates capacity planning with agencies to balance demand with resource supply.

  • Monitors and re-aligns resource deployment to respond to shifting and evolving priorities and timelines.

Quality Assurance and Delivery Excellence:

  • Defines and embeds quality and delivery protocols across GMCA and Partner Agencies.

  • Leads post-campaign governance reviews and drives improvements.

  • Drives continuous improvement, innovation, and learning across GMCA and Partner Agencies.

 

Internal Stakeholder and Partner Collaboration:

  • Orchestrates and sustains stakeholder relationships across GMCA and Partner Agency ecosystems.

  • Facilitates and optimises collaboration between GMCA and Partner Agencies.

  • Leads forums for co-creation, feedback, and strategic engagements.

Agency Workflow Process Management and Governance:

  • Leads the implementation of centralized workflow process and project governance systems for GMCA.

  • Reviews and standardizes briefing, campaign roll-out, tracking, and reporting processes.

  • Ensures governance discipline across GMCA and Partner Agency processes.

Qualifications:

  • Post Graduate Degree: Honours Degree, Post Graduate Diploma and Professional Qualifications NQF8 in Marketing, Strategic Communications, Business Administration, or related fields.

  • Preferred: Postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA, MCom, MAP, or Honours).

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • 12-15 years’ experience in marketing, advertising, or communications delivery roles.

  • Strong experience in strategic marketing integration and execution.

  • Proven capability in strategic resource planning, project management, and agency coordination.

  • Ability to deliver high-quality outputs on time and within scope.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Knowledge of brand, marketing, communications, and Go-to-Market processes.

  • Proven record of managing multiple, complex projects under tight deadlines.

  • Proficiency in project management systems and tools.

  • Strong ability to monitor, adjust, and improve delivery outcomes.

  • Hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on quality execution.

  • Applies advanced analytical thinking to evaluate complex issues, synthesize insights, and guide decisions.

  • Anticipates future risks and opportunities through data-driven analysis.

Education

Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Marketing (Required)
