Overview
The role is responsible for supporting client order execution, monitoring market movements to spot revenue opportunities, and managing basic FX trading positions within allocated limits. This role assists with daily market commentaries, ensures strict regulatory compliance, and prepares routine desk reports while directly reporting to the Head of FX Trading.
Job Responsibilities
Support internal and external customer flows with accurate FX and derivative price execution under supervision.
Generate incremental alpha from minor trading positions within small allocated limits to support desk revenue.
Monitor financial markets and news feeds to track rate movements and highlight alpha opportunities to senior traders.
Prepare daily market commentaries for internal stakeholders and assist senior team members with client presentation materials.
Maintain smooth day-to-day coordination with internal departments, operations teams, and external counterparties.
Ensure all trade entries adhere strictly to trade limits, risk guidelines, and internal operational procedures.
Stay informed on relevant foreign and local regulatory guidelines to ensure full compliance across daily operations.
Prepare timely, accurate daily transaction logs, position summaries, and routine management reports.
Promote teamwork, clear communication, and a collaborative, positive working environment.
Assume other administrative tasks and ad-hoc responsibilities as directed by senior traders.
Job Requirements
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, Business, or a related quantitative field.
Holds a valid PKMC license or possesses an equivalent local regulatory trading certification (PKMC preferred).
Demonstrates a basic understanding of global financial markets, FX products such as Spot, Forwards, and Swaps, and key macroeconomic indicators.
Proficient in MS Excel, with VBA or macros considered an advantage, alongside familiarity with trading platforms like Bloomberg or Refinitiv Eikon.
Exhibits strong numerical agility, high attention to detail in fast-paced market environments, strong integrity, and clear communication skills.

Skills Required
