Executive, Finance

Company :

• Assist Superior to prepare the financial reporting for management to analyze the company’s performance.

• Process routine financial documents and accounting transactions, reconciles accounting records and analyses routine accounting data.

• Supervise operations to ensure that the accounting and business processes are in line with the company policies and internal control and ensure operations are operating effectively.

Financial and management reporting

• Prepare and verify journals, supervise operations of inventory control, assets management and warranty process.

• Prepare and verify accounting reconciliations, accounting schedules and monthly financial reports for management review.

• Maintain the asset listing and approved capital budget, monitor the assets additions against the approved budget and manage the other assets transactions such as disposal and write off, when necessary.

• Preparation of ad hoc reports including profitability report, variance analysis reports and other management reports for management use.

• Ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting schedules for year-end audit purposes.

• Participate in the preparation of statutory report, monthly/quarterly report. 

• Participate in the preparation of annual budget.

System improvements and implementations

• Actively participate in system implementation and maintenance.

• Attends to queries from branches on systems/operations problem relating to financial aspects.

Branch/Operations

• Provide advice to Branch executives/officers in carrying out their duties or assignments.

Corporate Tax 

• Computation of corporate tax to ensure correct treatment of expenses items maximizing tax benefits.

• Quarterly prepared tax estimate and deferred tax.

• Liaise with tax consultant.

• Others

• Responsibility for Environment, Safety and Health to ensure a safe working environment for all employees, whilst complying with local legal requirements.
