LCS is seeking an experienced and compassionate Executive Director to lead the overall operations for The Delaney at the Vale. As the Executive Director, you will provide overall leadership and direction for the community, creating an environment where residents thrive, and the employees feel valued and engaged. 

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for overall performance and success of the community. You will partner closely with residents, families, employees, and organizational leaders to ensure an exceptional experience at every level.  

The Delaney at the Vale offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care.

What You’ll Do:  

  • Provide overall leadership, direction, and accountability for community operations  
  • Monitor key operational metrics and develop action plans to address opportunities and challenges  
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations as well as organizational policies and standards  
  • Collaborate with regional and corporate leaders to execute organizational strategies & initiatives  
  • Establish a strong leadership presence and foster a culture built on trust, accountability, collaboration, and respect  
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, employees, and community partners  
  • Serve as a visible, engaged, and strategic leader within the community & local market  
  • Champion the organization’s mission, values, and strategic priorities  
  • Ensure the community consistently delivers exceptional resident experience  

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, senior living, hospitality, or related field 
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a related environment
  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Director in senior living 
  • Experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational metrics  
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with residents, families, employees, and business partners  
  • A passion for serving others, including the ability to drive resident satisfaction through relationship development 
  • Ability to create a team culture, driving a People FIRST Culture by attracting top talent, retaining, and training 
  • Demonstrated ability to grow and stabilize community occupancy 
  • Understanding of Massachusetts AL and MC regulations and ability to drive compliance

Additional Information  

Travel frequency: 0-10%  

Estimated Salary: $170,000 - $195,000

The actual title & salary will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
