We utilize the latest user interfaces and online platforms to connect students to remote and physical spaces, and to faculty from the world’s top art and design schools.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and achieving department business and profit objectives
- Managing departmental budget and forecasting budgetary requirements
- Setting strategic long and short-term departmental goals and evaluating outcomes
- Supervising and evaluating team member’s performance to recommend personal actions such as retention, promotion, and dismissal
- Designing, developing, and improving department programs
- Recruiting, interviewing, and orienting new staff members
- Establishing, maintaining a positive and effective working environment
- Attending meetings, generating reports to upper-level management or other parties
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and adherence to company policy
- Performing other duties assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or related field
- 8 years of relevant working experience in education industry
- Background or experience in design/arts is preferred
- Strong understanding of business management, financial, and leadership principles
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
