Role Purpose:
Lead strategic client engagement and sales enablement initiatives to strengthen UBC’s market position, drive revenue growth, and expand relationships across existing and new accounts. This role focuses on building senior-level client relationships, driving proposal success, and aligning UBC’s services with client objectives.
Reports To: VP, Global Strategy & Integrated Delivery
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Growth
• Develop and deepen relationships within existing accounts and create new networks.
• Partner with BD and senior leaders to align UBC’s services with client goals and enable commercial opportunities.
• Actively contribute to all commercial engagements, including speculation, capabilities, RFIs, RFP, proposals and presentations.
• Serve as senior-level partner in proposal / budget preparation and bid defenses.
• Represent UBC at external scientific and industry meetings.
Sales Enablement & Strategic Input
• Guide strategic scientific and operational input into proposals and execution.
• Personally write and ensure innovative solutions and methodological content in proposals.
• Collaborate with Marketing on content and messaging.
• Lead and work closely with UBC experts to deliver differentiating strategies.
Leadership & External Relations
• Provide leadership aligned with UBC’s mission
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration
• Maintain deep industry knowledge
• Manage senior-level relationships with clients and partners.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 20+ years in pharma services or related industry.
• Proven ability to build and maintain senior-level client relationships.
• Expertise in consultative selling and strategic account planning.
• Strong leadership, writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations.
