Job Summary

This position is responsible for IL Network Contracting activities tied to Key Provider Partnerships, encompassing the largest health system relationships for across Illinois, across lines of business and across all provider types. This position is also responsible for Commercial Value Based Care contracting activities including but not limited to Commercial Accountable Care Organizations and Commercial HMO (medical group/IPA contracting). The role shall be accountable for the strategy development and implementation for overall network and market strategy, value-based care programs, network development and optimization. This position is responsible for ensuring contracted network coverage/adequacy, for oversight of management and staff who manage contracting operations, for the development of programs, processes and tools to ensure teams meet/exceed goals, objectives and have successful outcomes on the delivery of initiatives. Ability and willingness to travel on limited basis.
Please note, this is a HYBRID position and requires in-office hours 3 times a week at the respective office location.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor degree and 6 years experience in health care/insurance administration, hospital/health care contracting, and hospital/physician relations OR 8 years experience in health care/insurance administration, hospital/health care contracting, and hospital/physician relations.
* 5 years management experience.
* Knowledge of hospital and provider reimbursement strategies and policies.
* Clear and concise verbal and written communications skills including interpersonal skills to represent company to external entities, negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and prepare executive and employee presentations.
* Leadership skills, team player, relationship building skills.
* Experience working in a fast paced environment and meeting deadlines.
* Accuracy and sound judgment with regard to financial matters such as contract performance and impact
* Negotiation skills.
* Ability and willingness to travel.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* MBA or Masters in Health Administration.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Base Pay Range$158,300.00 - $293,800.00
