Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)- Define and execute a unified email and lifecycle marketing strategy across acquisition, newsletters, and retention to drive engagement, loyalty, and monetization.
- Partner with Editorial, Marketing, and Business Unit leaders to align lifecycle initiatives with subscription, commerce, advertising, and brand goals.
- Reimagine the role of newsletters as engines of audience growth, brand affinity, and revenue—from flagship products to new launches.
- Advance first- and zero-party data strategies in collaboration with Product, Data, and Engineering to power segmentation, personalization, and CRM capabilities.
- Lead experimentation and expansion into new lifecycle channels, including SMS, to deepen audience relationships.
- Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of senior leaders and managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
- Drive operational rigor and prioritization across a complex, multi-brand portfolio, focusing resources on the highest-impact opportunities.
- Communicate performance, insights, and recommendations to senior stakeholders, influencing strategy and business direction.

The base salary for this role is between $168,000 – $204,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
