Lena Park Community Development Corporation (Lena Park) is one of Boston’s oldest community development corporations, founded in 1968 by neighborhood residents committed to addressing affordable housing needs and creating opportunities for youth and families. For more than five decades, Lena Park has served as a trusted community anchor, providing quality affordable housing, resident services, community engagement initiatives, and youth development programming that empower individuals and families to thrive.

Today, Lena Park owns 602 units of affordable and moderate-income housing across eight properties, serving more than 1,300 residents, and operates a vibrant community center that connects residents with resources, programs, and opportunities. Guided by its mission to help youth and families build healthy lives, healthy families, and a healthy community, Lena Park continues to advance economic mobility, educational success, and neighborhood stability throughout Dorchester, Mattapan, and surrounding communities.

Lena Park seeks an Executive Director to lead the organization into its next chapter of impact and sustainability. Partnering closely with the Board of Directors, staff, residents, and community stakeholders, the Executive Director will strengthen Lena Park’s role as a trusted community hub while stewarding its real estate portfolio, expanding community-centered programming, and advancing a bold vision for long-term growth and community impact.

The ideal candidate will be a community-centered and strategic leader with experience building authentic relationships, leading organizational change, and fostering trust among diverse stakeholders. The successful candidate will bring strong operational and financial management skills, a track record of fundraising and partnership development, and experience with community-based programs. Familiarity with affordable housing, community development, real estate operations, or related fields is highly desirable. This leader will be an effective communicator, collaborative team builder, and visible ambassador committed to advancing equity, opportunity, and community well-being.
