JOB PURPOSE

 

The purpose of this role is to provide strategic Human Capital management, lead and manage talent acquisition and recruitment, employee capacity planning and management, employment relations and engagement as well as develop and lead integrated performance management for all BURS staff.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

     Develops and implements comprehensive human capital strategies to support BURS’s strategic objectives and operational needs.

     Leads the human capital development initiatives, including training and professional development programs, to build a skilled and capable workforce.

     Oversees workforce planning and analytics to ensure BURS has the right talent in place to meet current and future challenges.

     Manages the reward and recognition programs to motivate and retain employees, ensuring competitive and equitable compensation and benefits.

     Directs the employment relations function to maintain a positive work environment, manages labour relations, health and wellness, and employee grievances.

     Implements effective talent management and succession planning processes to identify and develop future leaders.

     Utilises HR technology systems to streamline HR processes and improve data management and analytics.

     Collaborates with senior management to align human capital policies and practices with organisational goals.



Requirements

     A Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field. A professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD etc.) is an added advantage.

     At least 10 years of experience in human resources, with a minimum of 5 years management experience preferably in the public sector or a large complex organisation.
