Key Responsibilities
- 1. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Develop, optimize, and document SQL queries and data models used in dashboards and reports.
- Deliver clear, actionable insights to stakeholders across Operations, and occasionally Sales, Finance, Supply, and other functions.
- Translate business questions into structured analyses and recommendations that support operational and strategic decisions.
- 2. Data Governance & Quality
- Maintain and enforce data governance practices, including metric definitions, data validation, dataset tiering, and shared data dictionaries.
- Monitor data hygiene and integrity by running checks, automating validation alerts, and escalating issues to data owners or engineers.Partner with data owners and the data engineering team to align on schema changes and ensure consistency in core metrics and reports.
- Ensure a single source of truth for key dashboards and KPIs used across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong SQL skills (joins, CTEs, aggregations, performance tuning).2–4 years of experience in BI, analytics, or reporting roles.
- Hands‑on experience with BI tools such as Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Solid understanding of data governance concepts (data quality, lineage, validation, dataset tiering).
- Strong analytical thinking and data storytelling skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Bonus: Experience with Python or data pipeline monitoring tools.
