RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Plan and execute content shoots across the network in accordance with the approved content calendar.
2. Capture photography and video at airports, on board aircraft, at destinations and at corporate events.
3. Edit and deliver finished content short-form video, reels, photo sets and long-form features to platform specification and agreed deadlines.
4. Obtain filming permits, airside access, security clearance and subject consent releases prior to capture.
5. Build and maintain the AirBorneo content library, with consistent tagging, metadata and usage-rights records.
6. Develop destination and community storytelling content supporting the airline's regional connectivity mandate.
7. Support the Lead, Events with content capture at inaugural flights, launches and corporate functions.
8. Work with the Copywriter and the Designers on integrated content packages.
9. Manage content production equipment, maintain the equipment register and report faults or losses.
10. Ensure that no operational, security-sensitive or personally identifiable material is released without clearance.
11. Other duties as assigned by the Lead, Social Media.
AUTHORITY
1. Authorized to determine the creative and technical execution of approved content shoots.
2. Authorized to request station, airside and cabin access for approved content capture, subject to the operating station's safety and security requirements.
3. Authorized to engage talent, models and locations within approved production budgets and consent requirements.
4. NOT authorized to publish content directly, to record in restricted areas without clearance, or to release footage depicting safety occurrences, security arrangements or identifiable passengers without approval.
DELEGATION OF DUTIES
In the absence of the Content Creator, the Lead, Social Media shall determine content priorities and may reassign capture duties to the Designers or engage an approved freelance vendor within delegated financial limits. Scheduled network shoots falling within the absence period shall be rescheduled or covered by station-based support as directed.
Skills Required
- Photography and videography capture skills (camera operation)
- Video and photo editing and delivery to platform specifications (short-form, reels, long-form)
- Ability to obtain filming permits, airside access and subject consent releases
- Asset management skills: tagging, metadata, and usage-rights record keeping
- Equipment management and maintenance, including maintaining an equipment register
- Knowledge of airport/airline operational and security protocols to avoid restricted-area recording and PII release
- Collaboration with copywriters, designers, and events teams for integrated content packages
