The incumbent will work as an individual contributor within a project team, responsible for coding open‑ended survey responses (verbatims) with high accuracy and within agreed timelines. The role focuses on delivering quality coded data to support market research projects.
Key Responsibilities- Understand the client domain, product, project requirements, and job specifications
- Read, analyze, and code verbatim responses logically with minimal guidance
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to timelines across simple and combinational projects
- Perform self‑checks on coded data before submission
- Update line manager/project manager on progress and flag risks related to scope, time, or cost
- Deliver work aligned to defined performance metrics and competencies
- Follow defined processes, checklists, and ISO guidelines
- Adhere to work practices such as timesheets, work status updates, and responsiveness
- Collaborate with stakeholders across functions within the cluster/country team
- Complete required internal trainings and certifications (SUP – Intermediate topics) within timelines
- Take up any additional tasks assigned by the manager or organization
- Minimum proficiency in Ascribe (fundamental tools)
- Understanding of coding concepts such as:
- Unaided Awareness
- Ascribe‑Standard coding (basic open‑ended responses)
- Code frame writing (Other Specify, unaided awareness)
- Basic understanding of the Market Research industry and its phases is an added advantage
- Graduate (freshers or early‑career candidates welcome)
- Good attention to detail and logical thinking
- Ability to work in a process‑driven, quality‑focused environment
