The candidate would be part of the Sustainability Solutions and ESG Practice division of Corporate Professionals, that offers various services and sustainability products including Carbon Management.
The person would be involved in tracking and analysing some of the rapidly evolving carbon markets in India and rest of the world. These include PAT Scheme, CCTS, GCPs, Western Climate Initiative Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), California’s Low Carbon Fuel Standards (LCFS), Renewable Fuel Standards (RFS), Clean Fuels Standards, India net zero targets and so on.

Role:
- The role envisages the following activities:
- Research and analysis of environmental issues such as GHG emissions, water toxicity, EPR etc.
- Analyse a variety of data streams using mathematical models and statistical techniques.
- Supporting delivery of reports and analysis. Publishing relevant forecast, commentaries and reports synthesizing the key news and developments.
- Supporting and actively participating in reporting product development.
Requirements
You must have:
- Post-graduation in disciplines such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, BSc+MSc
- 2-4 years of experience in Technical Environmental aspects such as GHG/carbon accounting, emission analysis, inventory data preparation and analysis and everything related hereto
- Demonstrated knowledge and use of standard analytical software
- You have a methodical mind for collecting and analyzing market data, and analyzing client data.
- You are humane and open-minded with no preconceived notions about any aspect, and facilitate healthy communication
Skills Required
- Post-graduation in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline such as BSc plus MSc
- 2-4 years of experience in technical environmental work, including GHG or carbon accounting, emissions analysis, and inventory data preparation and analysis
- Demonstrated knowledge and use of standard analytical software
- Methodical approach to collecting and analyzing market and client data
- Humane, open-minded approach and ability to facilitate healthy communication
