The Role

Amperity is seeking a motivated and exceptionally organized Executive Assistant to join our NYC-based team. This pivotal role combines the traditional responsibilities of an executive assistant with the strategic oversight of administrative management. This role requires a proactive approach to managing complex priorities and the ability to navigate ambiguity while maintaining a high level of organization and professionalism. A strong candidate will be a quick learner with a passion for continuous growth.

Interesting Problems

Administrative Support:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to Co-CEOs and President & CFO, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and discretion in all interactions.
  • Manage NYC office operations, including supply inventory, vendor relations, and facilities management.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency across Amperity.

Event Planning:

  • Plan and execute personal and business-related events, meetings, dinners, and gatherings, from conceptualization to post-event follow-up. 
  • Drive logistics, venue selection, catering, and participant communication.
  • Manage logistics, budgets, venue selection, catering, timelines and participant communication to ensure successful outcomes and positive experiences for participants.

Personal Support:

  • Manage time and availability for the principal (NYC based co-CEO) to maximize focus on core business objectives
  • Assist with occasional personal logistics (such as travel alignment or calendar de-confliction) to ensure seamless day-to-day scheduling.

  • Proven experience in roles that require exceptional organization, time management, prioritization, and attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and environments.
  • A strong appetite for learning, staying informed about industry trends, best practices, and new technologies. 
  • Quick adaptability to new information, shifting priorities, and evolving business needs.
  • Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus.

New York, NY

Amperity’s work model operates on four in-office days each week and one designated remote workday on Wednesdays. We value the collaboration, connection, and learning that come from working together in person.

Compensation

Base Salary:  $78,000-$90,000. Individual compensation within this range will depend on several factors, including your skills, experience, education/training, geographic location and the level at which you join. We also consider internal equity, market conditions, and overall business needs.

Cash Incentives: Cash incentives are also available.

Stock Options:  The opportunity for ownership is an exciting part of Amperity’s total compensation package. Every employee at Amperity receives a new-hire equity grant, commensurate with the scope of their position.
