Job Summary:

Are you a proactive, highly polished professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment? As the Executive Assistant, Plant Operations at Centrus Energy, you’ll serve as a trusted partner and strategic gatekeeper—anticipating needs, streamlining priorities, and ensuring the seamless execution of daily operations at the executive level. This role goes beyond traditional administrative support; you’ll be at the center of critical decision-making, coordinating across plant operations, leadership teams, and key stakeholders. If you excel at managing complexity, safeguarding confidentiality, and keeping leaders focused on what matters most, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact at the highest levels of the organization.

What You Will Do:

The Executive Assistant to the SVP, Plant Operations serves as a critical extension of executive leadership—driving efficiency, alignment, and communication across the organization. You will manage a complex and ever-changing executive calendar, prioritize competing demands, and coordinate high-level meetings, travel, and site engagements with precision. This role requires exceptional judgment, discretion, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise, ensuring the SVP is prepared, informed, and focused on strategic priorities.

You will prepare and refine executive-level communications, presentations, and reports; facilitate cross-functional coordination between plant operations, technical teams, and corporate leadership; and support key initiatives by tracking deliverables and deadlines. Additionally, you will manage sensitive information, handle confidential matters with professionalism, and serve as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders, including government and regulatory partners. Your ability to operate independently, navigate ambiguity, and maintain operational continuity will directly support the success of plant operations and executive leadership effectiveness.
We’d Love to Hear from People With:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of executive-level administrative experience supporting senior leaders in complex or highly regulated environments
  • Experience supporting senior executives in operations, manufacturing, energy, or technical organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, executive communications, and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” clearance.

A Successful Candidate Brings:

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with Oracle requisition systems or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
  • Experience with SharePoint, document control systems, and records management practices
  • Comfort working in classified, regulated, or government-facing environments such as nuclear or DOE operations
  • An active “Q” clearance.

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

This position will require a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.

This position requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.  Candidates for positions requiring a security clearance are required to be tested for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR 707.4 prior to an offer of employment being made.  In addition, once employed, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.  This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a Q security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government.  Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
