The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative, coordination, and presentation support to a senior executive in China. The role ensures smooth day-to-day operations of the president office, effective coordination with China and global stakeholders, and high-quality support for leadership meetings and global leader visits.

This position reports to Vice President and Group Executive, Danaher China and is part of the President Office, located in Shanghai and will be an on-site role. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Executive & Administrative Support

  • Provide full administrative support including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and expense management.
  • Manage meeting logistics, prepare agendas, take notes, and track follow-up actions.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

2. Presentation & Material Preparation (Slides / PPT)

  • Prepare, edit, and format PowerPoint presentations and related materials for leadership meetings, business reviews, and internal communications.
  • Consolidate inputs from multiple stakeholders into clear, well-structured presentation decks.
  • Ensure presentation materials meet executive-level standards in clarity, structure, and accuracy.

3. Communication & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as a key liaison between the executive and senior leaders, China leadership teams, global stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Coordinate communications on behalf of the executive, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely follow-up across stakeholders.
  • Support drafting of meeting summaries, follow-up notes, and routine executive communications as needed.

4. Meeting, Event & Global Leader Visit Support

  • Coordinate logistics and agendas for global leader visits, including meeting schedules, material preparation, on-site arrangements, and follow-up actions.
  • Support organization of leadership meetings, workshops, and executive visits, including agenda planning, material preparation, leadership messaging support, and post‑event follow‑up communications.

5. Internal Communications

  • Own and drive selected internal communications in China, including planning and delivering leadership messages, employee updates, and key internal announcements.
  • Independently plan and deliver employee-facing internal meetings and events (e.g. town halls, leadership meetings), including agenda design, content development, leadership messaging, and post-event communications.
  • Serve as a key partner to leadership on internal communication execution, ensuring messages are clear, consistent, and appropriate for different internal audiences.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • 10+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a senior administrative role supporting senior leaders.
  • Strong learning agility, with the ability to quickly adapt to new contexts, tools and ways of working; openness to adopting digital and AI-enabled tools to improve effectiveness.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to navigate a matrix organization and interact effectively with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and material preparation skills, with demonstrated capability to structure and deliver executive-level presentations.
  • High level of professionalism, diligence, and a helpful, service-oriented mindset, with strong attention to detail.
  • High sense of confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • Experience supporting leadership-level internal communications and employee-facing meetings (e.g. town halls, internal leadership meetings) is a plus.
