Job Description:Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include (not inclusive of all possible responsibilities):
- Handling a complex calendar with attention to accuracy, timeliness and ensuring the schedule aligns with executive's priorities and commitments. Must have ability to analyse and respond appropriately to emerging priorities to ensure that the executive is engaged only in essential meetings and events.
- Planning and executing internal meetings (ex. QBR, Coffee Talk), events, off sites, and other partnerships both inside Broadcom and with external partners. Take ownership & support of logistics for these events and ensure that budgets and activities around this area are managed as effectively as possible.
- Coordinating domestic and international travel plans end-to-end including the proactive anticipation of any and all logistics and itineraries. Meet travel requirements of the executive including on-the-ground door-to-door logistics.
- Preparing and reconciling expense reports to ensure timely processing. Will also handle expense approvals for executive's direct reports.
- Assisting with special projects across the Sales organization; provide group support as needs arise
- Manage relationships with strategic partners, vendors, facilities managers, and suppliers
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess:
- Excellent organizational, analytical, secretarial and communications skills, both written and oral.
- Demonstrated project-management and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Aptitude to apply sound judgment and diplomacy under time pressure, and in ambiguous and complex situations.
- Ability to work independently, without significant oversight or instruction to problem-solve.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive material with tact and professionalism.
- High level of self-awareness and intrinsic appreciation for the value that business support professionals provide.
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment, including building effective working relationships inside and outside of the group, and accommodating work styles and perspectives of diverse individuals.
- 10 years of experience using Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years executive/administrative assistant experience, or office admin management experience.
- College or Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in business administration, finance, human resources, or related field.
- Strong administrative skills and business focused mind set to effectively drive operations in a diverse and multicultural environment
- Native level Japanese Language
- Business level English language
