The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to senior leaders at an early-stage company. The work spans communications, scheduling, billing, relationship coordination and event logistics, with room to take on a broader remit as the business grows.
What you'll do
- Manage calendars and inboxes for senior leaders, including drafting emails on an executive's behalf.
- Coordinate communications between clients and external partners, arranging introductions and sharing relevant information.
- Run invoicing and payment operations, including sending invoices, following up on collections and processing payments to partners.
- Plan and carry out recurring events, working with vendors, travel providers and guest lists.
- Handle ad hoc administrative work such as organizing tax documents and keeping the CRM up to date.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 3 to 5+ years of executive assistant experience, ideally at early-stage startups rather than purely corporate environments.
- Previous experience supporting a top-level leader in a close, direct working relationship.
- Excellent written communication, including email drafting and representing the company externally.
- Self-directed and able to ramp up quickly and work independently without close guidance.
- Based in New York City or willing to relocate, and able to work in the office 5 days a week.
- A stable work history without a pattern of very short tenures.
Bonus points
- Background in billing, payments or basic bookkeeping.
- Experience coordinating events and logistics.
- Familiarity with CRM and automation tools.

Compensation and benefits
- Base salary: USD 100,000 to 140,000 per year
