The Executive Assistant serves as a trusted strategic and operational partner to the CEO, providing high-level administrative, organizational, and stakeholder support while exercising independent judgment and maintaining strict confidentiality.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage CEO calendar and priorities
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the CEO and the board of directors, Mission Advancement Council, C-Suite team, donors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Prioritize, manage, and facilitate executive communications, using discretion to identify matters requiring immediate attention.
  • Support the CEO in planning and execution of meetings, including preparation of agendas, presentations, and minutes.
  • Coordinate executive scheduling, travel, meetings, and events.
  • Conduct donor research and maintain accurate and timely records in Raiser’s Edge.
  • Support fundraising, marketing, communications, and research initiatives as assigned.
  • Assemble and maintain strategic plans and executive-level records.
  • Provide VIP campus tours and articulate the organization’s mission to donors, partners, and the public.
  • Uphold the organization’s Code of Ethics and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Lead special projects as directed by the CEO.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years of administrative or executive support experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; at least two years of college-level coursework or equivalent required.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database systems.
  • Knowledge of nonprofit operations and board relations preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Regular sitting, standing and/or walking
  • Frequent use of hands for typing
  • Bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or climbing as needed
  • Lifting and/or moving items up to 50 pounds
  • Visual and auditory ability to communicate and perform job duties

Skills Required
