Position Overview
At Autodesk, we empower innovators everywhere to design and make a better world. We are looking for a highly capable, proactive, and trusted administrative assistant / executive assistant based in Bangalore.
This role is critical to enabling leadership effectiveness in a fast-moving, global organization. You will act as a strategic administrative partner, anticipating needs, managing complexity, and ensuring the senior leader can focus on high-impact priorities.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end administrative support including complex calendar management across global time zones
- Proactively prioritize meetings and commitments to align with business objectives
- Prepare agendas, capture meeting notes, and track action items to closure
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment
- Serve as a key liaison between the Senior Director and internal/external stakeholders
- Draft, edit, and coordinate emails, presentations, and executive materials
- Partner closely with other Executive Assistants, Chiefs of Staff, and cross-functional teams
- Manage domestic and international travel, including itineraries, visas, accommodations, and expenses
- Coordinate logistics for leadership meetings, offsites, and team events
- Support expense reporting, purchase orders, and vendor coordination
- Maintain organized documentation and records
- Assist with onboarding new team members and team communications
- Continuously identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve efficiency
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of experience in an Administrative Assistant or Executive Assistant role, supporting senior leaders
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Director+ , or equivalent in large Software companies
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate leadership needs
- High degree of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-changing environments
- Strong interpersonal skills and executive presence
- Collaborative mindset with a service-oriented approach
